I'm studying Wolof, which is a local language via French.
I've only learned French for about 2 months just before leaving Japan, so I have to concentrate on hearing French in the lessons.
I'm going to school almost everyday, Monday to Saturday. There are the lessons for 3 and a half hour in the morning, and more 3 hours in the afternoon on weekdays.
Actually there's no lesson schedule.
Lessons is extended depending on the teacher, break time as well.
And there's a long lunch break for 2 hours.
The best moment is napping time right after lunch! Everyone really sleeps on the floor mat. My brain is tired after lessons, so it signals to me to "GO Sleep right now." Then, I'm always ready to sleep right after lunch.
A teacher saw my motivation to sleep and said,
"Is your job sleeping?"
The way to use the blackboard is totally different from Japan's way.
First, teachers wet the surface of the blackboard with sponges absorbed water. Then, while the surface is wet, they write the letters by chalk.
When erasing the letters, they use wet sponges as well.
My teacher is a woman.
Senegalese are basically tall, and I guess the average height of women is about 170cm.
The blackboard is low for them, so they are always bending for erasing. When I see the scene, it seems to be hard for them.
Senegalese have greeting culture in which people value greetings.
I had lessons about only greetings through two days!

"Is your bady in good condition?"
"Did you have a good day yesterday?"
"Did you sleep well last night?"
"How's your family?"
They have these conversations shaking hands.
It takes a lot of time to just greet when they greet several people in a row.
There are countless greetings like these, so I have to prepare for answering back against these questions quickly like a ping-pong player.

豚が一匹どころの騒ぎじゃありません。
今、ウォロフ語（現地語）をフランス語で習っています。
フランス語はたったの2ヶ月ほどしか習ってないので、ウォロフ語を吸収するにはとんでもなく集中してフランス語を聞く必要があります。
学校は月曜から土曜まで通います。
平日は、午前に3時間半、 午後3時間、授業を受けます。
決められた授業の時間割がなく、気まぐれに休み時間が伸びたり、授業が伸びたりします。
そして、昼休みは2時間と長め。
食後の昼寝はサイコー。床に敷いてあるござでみんな寝転がるのです。
私は脳が疲れていて、「寝ろ」と脳内信号が出ているので、すぐに寝ようと準備をします。
すると、先生に「仕事は【寝る人】なの？」と言われました。
黒板の文字の書き方と消し方が日本と全然違います。
まず、スポンジに水を吸わせて、黒板全体をぬらします。
そして、ぬれている状態のときにチョークで文字を書きます。
消す時も毎回、スポンジで消すのです。
私の先生は女性です。
セネガル人は背が高く、女性でも平均的に170㎝以上ある印象です。黒板が低いので、いつも腰を曲げていて大変そう。
セネガル人はあいさつを重んじる文化をもっています。2日間ぶっ通しのあいさつの授業がありました。
日本語で訳すとこんな感じ。
「こんにちは！」
「調子はどう？」
「仕事はどう？」
「体は健康？」
「昨日はよく過ごせた？」
「昨日はよく寝れた？」
「家族の調子はどう？」
などのやり取りを握手をしながら行います。
何人も続けてあいさつすると時間がかなりかかります。
この手のあいさつが無数にあるので、次は何を言ってくるかなと構えて卓球のように答えを即座に返す必要があります。
