Today I packed my belongings to move to the region where I will live.
It was the last day to prepare.
And I had my hair cut by a peer volunteer.
It made my hair very short and I felt refreshed!
Among my belongings, one of them is a sticky note that I brought from Japan. And I also have another sticky note that I bought in Senegal.
The one on the left is a Japanese one. The right one is a Senegalese one.
They look almost the same!
But the sticky part of the Senegalese one dries in an instant when I use it. Then It doesn't work as a sticky note at all. On the other hand, Japanese one is good quality as you know.
In addtion to that, pens and whiteboards look the same between Senegalese ones and Japanese ones. But items made in Japan are the most comfortable to use.
When I come to a foreign country, I can see the good points of the other country, but I can also see the good points of Japan.
I want to see what I can see cause of my "Japanese eyes".
今日は、私が住むことになる地方へ移動するための荷造りをしました。
最後の準備日でした。
そして、同期に髪を切ってもらいました。
ザクザクと切ってもらい、なかなかサッパリしました！
私の持ち物の中に、日本で使っていたもの、例えば「ふせん」があります。
そして、セネガルで買ったふせんも持っています。
左が日本のふせん。
右がセネガルのふせん。
見た目は一緒！
だけど、セネガルの物は、はがすと貼り付ける部分が一瞬で乾いてしまうのです。くっつかない。全く。
それに対し、日本のふせんはご存知の通りとても質が高いのです。
他にも、ペンやホワイトボードなど、見た目は同じなんだけど、日本製の物の使い心地が最高です。
外国に来ると、相手の国の良さもみえるけど、自分の国の良さもみえます。
「日本人の目」だから見えることを見ていきます。
