32 Sandy road すな道

It's been a week since I arrived in Louga.

The days of looking for furniture in my house are over, therefore the moving is completely done. "the borrower life of renting a room of a senior volunteer's house" is over at the same time.

Water is running through faucets and electricity is coming, though some outlets doesn't still work yet.

It's not a big problem. I am totally fine because I can use water and electoricity even a little.

Today I left at 7 AM so that I arrive at the "Teacher Training Center" where I was assigned until 8 AM. I checked how long it would take to get there on foot.

It took about 50 minutes on foot.

I sweated a lot as I was walking through like a desert area. It is a sandy road.

When I arrived at work, the door was locked. So I called my boss by phone.

He said, ”There will be closing until the 27th." (It was the 16th.)

"What!?"

I found out that my workplace was closed on the spot.

And the holidays is quite a long time!

I definitely remenbered the conversation with the boss yesterday,

"See you tomorrow at 8:00!", he said.

Soon after calling, I had to walk back to home through the sandy road.

I started walking with guts. It took me 50 minutes to return again.

Consecutively 2 hours, I continued to walk.

I was just walking in the extremely hot environment.

f:id:yuta7watanabe:20180816071717j:image
