I just moved in the Louga region, so there are still many places I don't know.
It is a small town and only a specific area is prospered.
The main part is a market .
Today I went to the place that is far away from the market. The place was painted out with green color on the map.
On the map, it was written "Park", but I had never seen parks like Japanese in Senegal yet. I went there to see and find out if it was really a park.
There have been so many differences between the map and the actual map so far.
After a long-walk on sandy roads, I arrived at my destination and found that it was not a "park" at all.
It was an incredibly large "Orchard!"
When I got to the entrance, I saw someone there.
I asked him, "May I come in?"
He said, "Follow me."
The old man pushed a wheelbarrow and led me along.
He walked very fast through a jungle.
I managed to chase not to be left behind.
When I went deep through wild plants, and I thought I would not be able to return home on my own. The old man said to a young man who was working there, "Show him around!"
Then, the young man showed me around and told me, "We are growing this fruit." He showed me some fruits that they grew.
They were these.
Citrus fruits, oranges, lemons, tropical fruits, bananas, coconuts, papayas, and so on.
I just asked at the entrance, "May I come in?" and they kindly took the time to show me around. They were kind people.
As a result of looking for a park, I could see a large orchard.
Now I’ｍ feeling that there would be a lot of places I cannot understand unless I go there.
引っ越してきたばかりの今、まだ知らない場所がたくさんあります。
小さい町なので、栄えているところはほんの一部です。
主にマルシェ（市場）です。今日はマルシェからは離れている地図では大きく緑色でぬられている部分に行ってきました。
地図には「公園」と書かれていましたが、セネガルでまだ日本のような公園を見たことがありません。本当に公園かどうかを確かめに行くことにしました。
地図表示と実際が違うことが多いからです。
時間をかけてゆっくり砂道を歩いて、目的地へ着くとやっぱり公園ではありませんでした。 なんととてつもなく大きな「果樹園」が！
入り口まで行くと人がいたので、
「入ってもいいですか？」と聞きました。
「ついて来なさい。」と言って、
おじいさんが一輪車を押しながら、てくてくと私を誘導してくれました。
植物が生い茂ったジャングルのような中を、ものすごいスピードで歩いていきます。
おいていかれないように必死です。
もう自力では帰れないんじゃないかくらい奥まで来ると、そこにいた働いている若者に「中を案内してくれ！」とおじいさんがバトンタッチしました。
その後、若者に園内を案内してもらい、「この植物には、この実がなるよ。」といった具合に教えてくれました。
柑橘系の実、オレンジ、レモン。
そして南国系の実、バナナ、ココナッツ、パパイヤなどがありました。
入り口で「入ってもいいですか？」と聞いただけで、 親切に時間をかけて案内してもらいました。彼らは優しかった。
公園を探した結果、
果樹園が見れた、という日でした。
この地域には足を運ばないと分からない情報がたくさんある予感がしました。
