I saw a lecture to students at "Teacher Training Center."
It was held in a room that about 100 people can be seated.
A professor was standing sometimes and sitting sometimes. He was speaking with a microphone.
He spoke in a low tone and the voice cut sometimes due to the poor quality of the microphone. That's why I couldn't catch the words at all at my language level.
The lecture was in French.
As I was thinking how well everyone was listening and taking notes, a student sitting nearby (maybe 20s) spoke to me and said, "I have a textbook."
I found it that the content of the lecture was about kindergarten education.
In the classroom, students were quietly listening to the lecture, but their motivation seemed to be different, onry some were energetic, most of them were just quiet .
It reminded me of my college days.
I have to learn more about education in Senegal.
教員養成センターで行われている講義を見せてもらいました。
100人くらい入る部屋で行われていました。
講義をする先生は、立ったり座ったりしながら、マイクを使って話していました。
落ち着いたトーンの声で話され、質の悪いマイクで途切れ途切れの言葉は、私の語学レベルではちっとも聞き取れません。
講義は、フランス語です。
みんなよく聞きとって、ノートとってるなと思ってると、近くの生徒（多分20代）が声をかけてきました。
「テキストあるよ。」
と教えてもらいました。
内容は、幼稚園教育についての講義でした。
教室では、生徒は静かに講義を受けていましたが、
やる気は人それぞれといった様子でした。
一部の人だけやる気が見られ、大多数はただ静かでした。
大学時代を思い出しました。
セネガルの教育について、これからよく知っていきたいです。
