The final exam for students at the"Teacher Training Center" was would have been in September. However, due to the strike, the exams will be in October.
According to an original plan, new teachers(current students) would start working in elementary schools in October, but it seems like plans are going to be putting off.

When I go to buy vegetables to the market the day after it rains, I can find vegetables that have obviously been soaked by rain.
There are wet, damaged, and rotten vegetables, which are all mixed together.
I have to check carefully and choose what I can eat.
It doesn't matter if it is sandy or not.
The important thing is if I can eat them or not.
At the market, the price is decided by using a balance scale.
A weight is placed on one side and vegetables on the other side.
I was surprised to see that everyone was using these scales. In Japan, the tools are considered old-fashioned, but in Senegal, they are still very familiar.
When I bought bananas, I found that the underside of the banana was rotten.
I had never checked so carefully for rotten vegetables in the vegetable section in Japan.
It is important to choose vegetables I can eat.

よく見て、食べられるものを選ばなくてはいけません。
砂が付いてるかどうかは関係ないのです。
「食べることができるかできないか」が大事なのです。
市場では、てんびんを使って野菜の値段を決めています。
片方におもり、もう片方に野菜をのせます。
このてんびんをみんな使っているということに驚きました。
日本ではもはや昔の道具というイメージですが、 セネガルではとても身近です。
この間バナナを買った時、帰って見ると裏側がぐちゃぐちゃに腐ってたことがありました。
日本の野菜コーナーで、こんなに慎重に野菜が腐ってないかチェックすることはなかったです。
食べられる野菜を選びぬく選球眼が大事。
