The 1st of November was a notional holiday called "All Saints' Day."
It is a Christian day to pray to the saints. And the night before the All Saints' Day is Halloween.
I was invited to a home of a Christian of my friend and I had a feast.
I've been to this house on the last Christian holiday.
In Senegal, more than 90% of the population is Muslim, so pork is not sold in town.
However, this time it was in a Christian house. Therefore, they have pigs and I could eat pork.
It was the first pork I had eaten since the previous Christian holiday (15th of August), so I hadn't had pork in two and a half months.
Delicious!
And they also served alcohol. Christians are allowed drinking.
We drank, ate, danced, and had a lively party.
There were two national holidays during this week.
I counted 16 national holidays in Japan for a year and 14 national holidays in Senegal.
11月1日は「万聖節（ばんせいせつ）」という祝日でした。
キリスト教の「聖者に祈りを捧げる日」だそうです。
その前夜がハロウィンです。
知り合いキリスト教徒のセネガル人の家に招かれ、ごちそうになりました。
前にもキリスト教の祝日に来たことがある家です。
セネガルでは9割以上イスラム教徒なので、町で豚肉が売られていません。
そのため、豚を飼っていて食べることができます。
前のキリスト教の祝日（8月15日）以来食べる豚肉だったので、2ヶ月半ぶりに食べました。
美味い！
そして、酒もふるまわれました。キリスト教はお酒もOKです。
飲んで食べて踊って、にぎやかな宴でした。
今週は2回祝日がありました。
日本の祝日の数を数えたら年間で16日あり、セネガルは14日でした。
