In Senegalese classrooms, teachers are not punctual very much.
Sometimes a lesson extend the time over an hour. It is difficult for children to concentrate on.
One of the reasons is that there are no clocks in the classrooms. Also there are no specific chimes either.
From 11:00 to 11:30 is the break time.
Teachers literally take a break during this time.
Rather, the break time continues longer than 11:30, and some teachers even take a break until 12:00.
The teachers room does not exist here, they are relaxing outside.
Everyone sits on chairs and takes a rest.
I think it is a good idea, "To take a break during the break time."
The time to talk to teachers about lessons is during class time. They seem they don't like to talk about lessons during the break time.
Therefore, I need to make some time other than the break time to talk about lessons.
During the break time, I can get a lot of energy from children.
It is interesting to see so many different characters as well as in any country!
セネガルの授業では、先生たちはあまり時間というものを意識しません。
1つの授業が長引いて1時間を超える時があり、子供たちは集中するのが難しいです。
教室に時計が置かれていないせいなのでしょうか。チャイムも特にありません。
11時〜11時半は休み時間です。
先生たちは、この時間は文字通り休みます。
むしろ休み時間は延長するのが当たり前で、11時半を過ぎても続き、12時まで休む先生もいるくらいです。
職員室は存在せず、外です。
みんながいすを並べて休みます。
「休み時間は休む」ことは良い考えだと思います。
そのため、先生たちに授業のことで相談しようとすると、休みを優先しているため授業中となります。
なので、先生たちと授業のことを話す時間をつくるのには工夫が必要なのです。
休み時間は、子供から元気をもらいます。どの国も同じで色んな子がいて面白い！
