I came Thies city from Dakar city, whichi is the capital of Senegal.
It took about one and a half hour to move by car.
It is been a week yet since we got in Senegal.
"Adeshina" is the name of the school where we are going to study "Wolof."
Wolof is a local language in Senegal.
I'm going to school for three weeks from a house in which a Senegalese family live. I also live with them as a home stay student.
It is totally for the first time for me to spend time as a homestay student.

On the first day, I went to school first. And I received the orientation in school, then, I headed to a homestay's family house.
There were only Japanese volunteers in our domitory I had been until yesterday in Dakar. But it has totally changed to Senegalese style life from Japanese style.
Thies city is the second developped city in Senegal.
It is a quite good condition in the city.
For example, the main roads are paved for cars. Bur the other roads are not.
When I step on the sand and feel soft and fluffy.
While living here with a local family, I'd like to be like one of Senegalese through Segalese life.

アフリカに着いてから１週間だけ過ごしたセネガルの首都ダカールから車で１時間半のティエスという街へやってきました。
タイトルの「アデシナ」は、現地語の「ウォロフ語」を習う語学学校の名前です。
7月13日から3週間、セネガル人家族の一員となり、ホームステイをしながら、語学学校へ通います。

初日は学校でオリエンテーションを受け、その後ホームステイ先へ向かいました。
ホームステイ先に行くと、そこには完全なる一般的なセネガルの生活が待っていました。
道は、車がよく行き来する場所だけ舗装されていて、それ以外は砂浜のようなモフモフとした踏み心地の砂が広がっています。
ここにいる間は、セネガルにどっぷりつかります。
電波は通じる（3Gより遅い）ようなので、セネガル文化を発信していきます！
