I generally take the day off on weekends.
The market is almost closed on Sundays.

The market is made up of stores and stores crowded together.
It looks as if there are no passways, but people can pass through narrow passways between stores.
The town has no movie theaters, bowling alleys, karaoke rooms, and other entertainment facilities not like in Japan. And there are no TVs, vacuum cleaners, and air conditioners in my house.
People are not surrounded by many things, so there is a calm holiday atmosphere throughout the town.
When I was working in Japan, I always felt like I was busy with some works and it was difficult to think slowly, but now I have time to think thoroughly.
Even on weekdays, I can feel that calm atmosphere.
I feel like I am in the "Room of spirit and time", which is from a Japanese comic, "Dragon ball".
A spiky plant.
It is called "Soump".
When it withers, it turns the same color as the soil and the spikes become as hard as needles.
When I was walking on the street, spikes cut my leg sharply.
Blood dripped down from my leg.
They are everywhere.
Some of bigger ones grow like trees, which are hanging from the top.
After I got hurt, I could realize a lot of "Soump".
生活は基本的に土日休みです。
日曜はマルシェ（市場）はほとんど閉まっています。
建物の2階からマルシェを見下ろした様子。
マルシェは店と店が密集してできています。
隙間がないようにも見えますが、建物の間の狭い隙間はほとんど通ることができます。
町には、日本にあるような映画館、ボーリング、カラオケなどの娯楽施設はありません。そして、家にはテレビがありませんし、掃除機がありませんし、エアコンがありません。
物に囲まれていない分、ゆっくりとした休日の雰囲気が町全体にあります。
日本で仕事をしているときはいつも何かの作業に追われている感じがして、ゆっくりと考えることが難しかったですが、今はぼーっと考える時間があります。
平日でもそのゆっくりさを感じることができます。
「精神と時の部屋」にいる感覚。
トゲトゲの植物。
「スンプ」と呼ばれています。
枯れると土と同色になり、トゲトゲが針くらい硬くなります。
前に道を歩いていたら、このトゲトゲが、スパッと私の足を切りました。
血がたらぁーっと垂れ、切れ味バツグン。
本当にいたる所にあります。
大きなものは上からぶら下がるように生えているものもあります。
ケガをしてからは、このスンプが目につくようになりました。
