Cut watermelon was sold on the street and I bought it immediately.
It was tepid, though, so good! This is typical thing of the summer!.
Since I moved to Louga, I've been on vacation for about a week so far.
It is an unexpected break as I thought my work started soon.
This week, I looked around the town in every corner. I was walking seeing the right side, and the left side as well anywhere.
Small stores,
The people who taught me the language,
The children I played with.
The more I walked around the town freely, the more I could see new things.
Tomorrow, I will start my work at the "Teacher Training Center" where I was assigned.
Although I haven't yet decided exactly what kind of work I will be involved in, I am really happy to be able to start it.
What I am looking forward to the most is meeting new people.

セネガルの地方ルーガに引っ越してきてから今日まで約一週間の休みでした。
これから活動が始まるぞ、というタイミングでの不意打ちの休みでした。
この一週間、
町がどんな場所なのか、どんな人がいるか、
右見て、左見て、よく見て歩きました。
小さな商店、
言葉を教えてくれた人、
一緒に遊んだ子供たち。
町を自由に歩いた分、新しいことが見えました。
明日から、配属先の教員養成センターへ再び通い始めます。
まだどんな活動をしていくかハッキリと決まってはいませんが、
活動を始められることが嬉しいです。
楽しみなのは、新しい人と出会うこと。
