Saturdays and Sundays are my day off.
I have basically been invited to Senegalese homes on national holidays, but it was the first time that I was invited to a Senegalese home on a normal day.
I was happy and said immediately, "I'll go!"
The person who invited me was a teacher at elementary school. He is 15 years older than me. In Senegal, we are colleagues at work, but I feel they are like friends.
When I talk to them, I keep my key even higher than talking with Japanese.
I visited his house on Saturday afternoon for having lunch, dessert, tea, and had been relaxed.
I asked myself, "Why did he invite me?".
Was it because I could build a good relationship of trust? Also, was it because he accepted me as a friend?
I thought it must have something to do with that we have been continuing to talk every day.
I thought I'd like to expand the relationship maintaining this pace.
I was in the best room he think and had a relaxing time watching TV.
Senegalese food were shared with everyone traditionally.
The big chicken in the middle of the plate was cut into small pieces by hand and divided among everyone in the Senegalese way.
I was so full.
毎週土日は休み。
祝日に、セネガル人の家に招待されて行く事は今までありましたが、
何もない日に初めてお家に招待されました。
私は嬉しくて「行きます！」とすぐに答えました。
招待してくれたのは、私が通う小学校の先生で私の15歳上の男の先生です。
セネガルの感覚だと、職場の同僚という感じで、上下関係を感じずに接することができます。
話すときは、日本の感覚よりも1オクターブテンション高めです。
土曜日の午後に家におじゃまして、昼ご飯、デザート、ティーと、くつろがせてもらいました。
私は「なんで招待してくれたのかな？」と考えました。
信頼関係が出来てきて、日本から来ている私を受け入れてくれたから？
きっと毎日話をし続けてきたことが関係しているんだなと思いました。
この調子で関係を広げていきたいなと思いました。
一番良い部屋に通され、テレビを見ながらのリラックスの時間でした。
定番のみんなでつつくセネガル飯。
真ん中のデカイ鶏肉は、手でちぎってみんなに分けるセネガル式で食べました。
満腹。
